The scene on the top is when the ball quietly approaches the dog's bedroom and slowly opens the door. The dog is awakened, and tries to see what is going on, but the ball retreats.
The bottom scene is the ball trying to scare the dog by watching him and slamming his window closed, although we never see the ball move because of the wind blowing the curtains and blocking the view.
I like the idea of the ball having life! And looking at your previous posts I absolutely adore your drawings, your style is very individual methinks, and your dog design is very cute. :)The expressions are well done as well.
ReplyDeleteI think your storyboards are really beautiful, I like that you have them in traditional medium rather than digital, you must have put a lot of time into them.
First of all, good work on the drawings and value. That being said, try to work more lose (no value) and hammer out more of the story itself. I, personally, like the idea that the dog is well aware of the ball and terrified of it over the ball sneaking around. Keep playing with it, your drawings look awesome!
ReplyDeleteWhat does the dog do after the window slams shut?
ReplyDeleteLike Chris said, I think he should become aware of the ball soon.
It's very suspenseful though, I'm excited to see what comes next!
Definitely forward momentum on your project! I really like the "quick statement" post that describes the plot... you are on the right track! It is clear that you looked over the Log Line method... keep at it... see if you can get it to one sentence...
ReplyDeleteI agree with Chris--the drawings are excellent on showing atmosphere but find a way to rapid sketch the idea...
